Prejudice
I was talking with a co-worker and she repeatedly said how hateful and evil “those people” are. She was talking about Muslims. She doesn’t know any Muslims. All I could be reminded of was a time in Americas not to distant past were blacks were “those” people…Native Americans before that, Asians, Irish, and Jews. That is the only thing that I will say about America that I don’t like. In “the greatest country in the world” we still have someone with a masers degree talking about “those people”. In 2004 does race matter? Is there a 'melting pot'? Please personal experience...feedback wanted.

It's sad. There is always something. If we were all the same race, then there would be friction amongst religions. If we were all of the same religion, there would be friction amongst the sexes,...and so on,...and so on. I think some people look for differences in others to make themselves feel better about who they are.
